With the arrival of the 2017 model year, Chrysler has introduced the all-new Pacifica, a minivan that is set to elevate the segment. 
Price and Performance
The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica provides enhanced value from the start as it is roughly $1,000 less expensive than the Odyssey throughout every trim level. The Pacifica is fixed with a 3.6-liter V6 engine with a 9-speed automatic transmission. The 2016 Honda Odyssey is quipped with a 3.5-liter V6 engine with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Pacifica  has the ability to reach 287 horsepower with 262 lb.-ft of torque. The Odyssey on the other hand, mazes out at 248 horsepower with 250 lb.-ft of torque. As you can see, the Pacifica not only reaches higher horsepower, but it also delivers more gear ratios for optimized performance.
Safety Features and Technology
In terms of active safety both the Pacifica and the Odyssey feature 4-wheel anti-lock braking systems with traction and stability control systems. The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica also exclusively features Rainy Day Braking. This feature ensures that your brake pads stay dry and remain effective during sever weather driving. Both vehicles are equipped with advanced airbag systems however only the Pacifica includes additional knee airbags for both driver and front passenger. While both the Pacifica and the Odyssey offer such tech as color touch screen displays and Bluetooth, only the Pacifica includes Integrated Voice Command as a standard feature, which allows you to place your phone calls with your voice.
